Meet Your Instructor: Jerry Wright, PE, MBA- Certified Master Black Belt

The Lean Six Sigma coursework is led by Jerry M. Wright, a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt who has trained and certified thousands of people over the last 30 years. Jerry holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He served as the Lead Instructor for Lean Enterprise at UC San Diego (UCSD) for 10 years and taught at San Diego State University (SDSU) for three more before retiring from university-level teaching.

Jerry is also the Founder of LEANwRIGHT, Inc., an award-winning Lean Six Sigma consulting firm, and the author of the 2024 book, The Insanity Trap: What Your MRP Consultant Won’t Tell You. Jerry has worked across industries- including aviation, medical devices, consumer products, logistics, electronics, and power distribution, in quality, operations, engineering, and executive leadership roles.
